Welcome to my Website!
I am a data scientist and an economist by training. My research focuses on analyzing massive datasets to understand human behavior, social processes, and markets, using techniques from econometrics, network science, and machine learning. I am also a firm believer in the power of the data revolution to drastically improve lives at a global scale.
I am currently part of the Big Data program at the World Bank. I am also a visiting researcher at NYU Computer Science and at the Northeastern Network Science Institute, a fellow at the Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science, and a senior research affiliate at Data-Pop Alliance.
Prior to that, I completed my PhD at New-York University under the supervision of Xavier Gabaix, Romain Ranciere, Lakshmi Subramanian, and Arun Sundararajan, and my post-doc at the Network Science Institute with Laszlo Barabasi, David Lazer, and Chris Riedl.
